How I work
Who I see, and where to read more
Most of my work is with men on their own, in one of the situations below. Each has its own page with the detail.
Men in and after a divorce
This is the center of the practice: men considering a divorce, going through one, or still recovering from one years later.
Co-parenting after a divorce
The marriage is over and the co-parenting isn’t: the texts, the handoffs, the school decisions made from two houses. This is individual therapy, and your ex isn’t part of it.
Neurodivergent adults
Many of my clients have ADHD or are autistic, or have a partner, child, or ex who is. A divorce takes apart the routines a household runs on, so some of our work is practical.
Couples
I see a small number of couples who want to stay together and have stopped being able to work through conflict, so openings are few.
For therapists
Supervision toward licensure for interns and associates, and case consultation for licensed therapists with a case that’s stuck.
My approach
The relationship between us is the main instrument, and I use what works from several schools of therapy. Theoretical orientation has the longer version, and Is this you? describes what the men I work with tend to recognize in themselves.
How we begin
Call, text, or email, and we’ll start with a 20-minute conversation about whether I can help.
